When you  market your business online, you can dramatically shorten the success curve by going after your Target Market. The term “target market” is an unfamiliar term in the MLM industry. MLM’ers are traditionally taught the “3-foot rule” which literally means to prospect any and everyone that is within 3 feet of you at all times, including family, friends and neighbors. If you’re a network marketer who has adopted and utilized this rule you have no doubt encountered some level of frustration. 

The 3-foot rule is not good “real world” sales and marketing. Springing up on unsuspecting people to ask them if they’re interested in making additional income seems harmless to some. But to others it’s nothing short of harrassment. It’s embarrasing when a complete stranger calls you a loser and tells you to go get “a real job”.  There are a few successes though. I have been successful in recruiting people that I didn’t know and approached while I “was out”. But out of the many that I have prospected at gas stations, restaurants, stores etc., Very few were ever interested in my companies products or opportunity.

To build a successful Network Marketing Company like a true professional requires a shift in philosophy about who you’re marketing to.

Your Target Market are individuals who are specifically interested in what you are offering. There are BILLIONS of people online who are looking for specific products, services or business opportunity. Those are they people you want to attract!

Wouldn’t you love to throw out that names list and stop harrassing total strangers?

The truth is, most of the highest paid Network Marketers in the industry are not the most smooth talking, charismatic  salespeople. They are regular people who know how to develop strong marketing systems that generate targeted, highly qualifed leads. They know how to attract their target market and how to effectively close the leads they generate.

Creating an effective online marketing system takes time, dedication and patience. However, with an effective system your Multi-level Marketing business will experience dramatic results! Mine has!
