Hey Folks,

The first on my list of variables to success in MLM/Home-Based businesses is a person’s Level of Skill. Let me explain.

There are network marketers that are very good at selling. Yes, I know, we don’t sell right? Wrong! We do sell, whether we think so or not. I happen to know a network marketer who is what I would call a Master Salesman. He could sell ice to an eskimo. This person has an advantage over many people because he is very skillful at selling his product/services. Although the opportunity is the same for him as anyone else in the same business, the results will be vastly different.

Here’s another example. There are also people who have a difficult time meeting people and/or building relationships. They’re competent in all other vital areas (i.e. knowing the product, plugging into events, investing time and money) but just aren’t very skillful at exposing people to their MLM/home-based business opportunity on a personal/one on one level.  Skills are learned, not innate. So, although a network marketer may be lacking in a particular skill, they can be learned.

Recognize the areas they you may be weak in and find a business partner or mentor that will invest thier time in helping you strenghthen the skills you need to succeed.

Be inspired.

Stacey
