 Hello folks,

I gotta serious question for you?

Have you struggled in your MLM/Home-based business? Do you truly desire success in MLM but for some reason you can’t seem to have major success not matter how hard you try? Well, your business may be suffering due to circumstances that you have no control over.

Making money in MLM/Home-based business is not just a matter of following the systems that your company has in place or what your mentor/upline is teaching you. There is so much more involved and if you’re not aware of what these things are, it’s really easy to quit and never give multi-level marketing a chance again.

Systems are great. They are the driving force behind most network marketing companies because of duplication. But what about all the other factors that play a role and are almost never discussed?

Here’s a list of 10 major variables, in no particular order,  that affect the level of success a person will have in any MLM/Home-based businesses.

1. Level of skill

2. Support of family/friends/upline

3. Financial stability

4. Marketplace

5. Economics

6. Ethnicity/Race

7. Education/Experience

8. Influence

9. Time

10. Level of personal development

I will discuss each of these as a individual topic in my blogs that follow. In the meantime, think about each of these ten things and how some of them may be affecting your journey to success in making money in network marketing.

The good news is these are only obstacles in your MLM/Home-based business that can be overcome. But I think it’s important to recognize them first.

Creating Wealth with Residual Income in Network Marketing/MLM

Evening Folks,

I want to talk about something that is so important in this industry that I can’t believe I’ve never discussed it before. Residual Income!

What is residual income? It’s the reason I got into this industry. Residual income simply means getting paid over and over for work that you’ve basically done once. Sounds simple enough but how does it work?

Well, I’ll explain. There are many different network marketing businesses out there. Some market products, some market services and some market both. I’ll use a product as an example. Let’s say your company markets nutritional products. Most likely the products are sold in 30 day supplies. Well they are considered consumable products that, assuming they are great products, will be ordered on a recurring monthly basis, otherwise known as  ”auto-ship”.

Let me tell why this is so huge.  You sell the product once, but continue to get paid monthly as long as the products stay on auto-ship. Say for example that each recurring auto ship on a particular product is $5.00. That may not seem like a big deal but what happens when that multiplies by 10, 20, 30, 100 customers a month! Can that happen? Yes it can and those are small numbers. Not to mention that I only spoke about first level residuals. I did not even take into account the money that a networker could earn from their team members businesses.  There are network marketers who earn $100,000.00 a month and more in residual income. The income potential is even greater than that for those who market online.

Any business that produces a residual income is considered an asset which is a key to wealth creation. Network Marketing is not only great for the up-front money but offers true financial freedom through residual income.

 Get it and get free!

To your success,

Why did I get into Network Marketing?

Before I go any further, let me explain how this all started. I got into network marketing as sort of a fluke. I had never joined an MLM before and new very little, if anything, about the industry. I had never even heard the terms “network marketing”,  ”multi-level marketing”, or even the infamous and nasty “pyramid scheme” before. This was probably to my advantage in that my view of the industry was quite neutral.

About 18 months ago, I was approaching my college graduation (at a very “mature” age for a student) and was contemplating my future. My decision to return to college occured at the perfect time in my life. I was mature, driven, motivated and focused. I had done very well, earning my B.A. in communication, graduating with top honors.

What was next? A new job? A career? A career in what? Communication? Hmm…. It quickly occured to me that I didn’t want a job. I hadn’t worked for anyone in 3 years and had no desire to do so again. Now you may be asking “What about that degree I worked so hard for?” “Why did I even bother?” Well, the reason was more for personal gain that professional. For the first time in my life I wanted to finish something that I started.  I did and went out on top!

I did not want a job but I wanted to earn a lot of money and be free.  How would I do that? Well, I wanted to own a business. So, I began to write down exactly what I wanted in a business. Here’s what I came up with.

The ability to change the lives of an unlimited number of people

Time freedom to do what I wanted, when I wanted

Financial Freedom

Provide a product or service that was unique and in demand

The freedom to operate my business anywhere in the country and/or the world

No limit to the amount of income I could earn

To have fun

To be challenged

Be in an environment that helps me to become a better person

Where and how in the world would I ever find an business opportunity like that?! Was I just straight crazy or what?  How long will it take me to come up with an idea that would work? Even if I knew, where would I get the money for the start up costs? Who would help me?  What if I failed? I knew that I really wanted all these things and I prayed about it. Little did I know that my prayers were about to be answered sooner than expected. And the answer was right in front of me.
